Being a single mom with a full-time job make lots of working loads especially when you have kids going to school. As a single mom, you really want to ensure that you were able to provide the needs and quality time for your kids. An everyday routine is important to make sure you get everything fixed for your kids once they get out of the door to go to school.
However, a single mom with a full-time job still needs to have time to fix herself going to work. Tendencies are you don’t have any time to talk with your kids in the morning for you are busy preparing them at school.

- Bedtime bonding
A little bedtime bonding after a load of works makes you a better mom for them. Assure that you have set a time frame where everyone should be in the bed and have a little time to talk about what happened to their day. Also, a little bonding such as joining them while brushing their teeth, giving their milk, and telling them stories would be a great bonding for you and your kids.
- Prepare their clothes
Spending time picking out and ironing clothes would only add up time. Making their clothes prepared and ready to wear would be ease to them. Also, some of the kids cannot do it on their own and still needs an extra help. Preparing their clothes and helping them to wear it would be a good routine every morning.
- Keep them on task to their routine
Always keep them reminded that they only have 30-45 minutes to get ready, and you have to stick from it. The remaining 15 minutes will be your allowance. Make sure that they will be able to take shower, wear their clothes, and keep their hygiene set up before they go for breakfast.
- Make an easy breakfast
Make sure that they were able to eat their breakfast so that they will not get hungry for going to school. An empty stomach may affect their school performances as well as a judgment to you being their mom. Breakfast doesn’t need to be a full course meal, a waffle, toast bread, or cereals may do.
- Prepare packed lunch for them
Providing a packed lunch for them will assure you that they can eat on a proper diet. There are lots of packed lunch ideas available online that is creative and make kids enjoyed their lunch at school.
